As consumer demand for healthy yet convenient food and drink rises, there has never been a better – and more profitable time – for the juice bar trend to take centre stage.
In the United States juicing makes up for $5 billion each year alone. Meanwhile the UK is expected to see juicing bring in a £62 million revenue for 2015-16. Couple this with food brands promoting and driving a new type of health-consciousness, and cue new gaps in the market for segments like this.
Now hotels and restaurants alike are maximising on this trend and incorporating it into their own branding. While restaurants are offering healthy smoothies on their menus, hotels are revamping and invigorating their dining concepts and food presentations to include the juice bar set up.
